Bhagat Singh life story | The Legend | Biography | Birth & Death

 He is one of the greatest freedom fighters in India and he is a greatest revolutionary freedom fighter. His name is "Bhagat Singh" and his full name is "Shaheed Bhagat Singh". And his parents are Kishan Singh (father) and vidyavati Kaur (mother). And he studied in D.A.V High school, National college in Lahore. Here shaheed means " Martyr".

 And Bhagat Singh was born on 28th September 1907 in Banga, Pakistan. Now it is a Punjab. And he died on 23rd March 1931 in Lahore, Pakistan. And he died at 23 years old only. So while dying he died with two greatest freedom fighters one is Sukhdev and other Rajguru.

 His family was very politically active. He was an active member of the Hindustan socialist republican army. His slogan of "INQUILAB ZINDABAD" has given great impact on the youth during the freedom movement. He was greatly inspired by Lala Lajpat Rai and Bhai parmanand. He did not only fake an active part in the freedom struggle but also inspired many other youths to join the same not only while he was alive but even after his death. After the jalianwala bagh massacer & it was Lala Lajpat Rai's death that moved Bhagat Singh deeply. He could not bear the cruelty of the British any longer and decided to revenge Rai's death. It is the 1st step in this direction was to kill the British official, Saunders. Next, he threw bombs in the central assembly hall during the assembly session. He was subsequently arrested for his act and was eventually hanged on 23rd march 1931 along with rajguru and sukhdev. So he died at 23 years old only in lahore jail at 7:30 pm.
So his heroic acts inspire the youth even today. So lastly his death given inspiration for all several Indians to join the struggle for freedom. His support his given his title "SHAHEED".
