The man who built a school in his village by selling oranges in the streets.
ーShri Harekala Hajabba.
The man who is 68 years old selling oranges in the city of Mangaluru and earns just 150₹ per day. One day when he was selling oranges in the city the two foreign couple asked How much? But he did not know the english he didn't understand the language. Interestingly, he has never received a formal education. So, because of that i did not given the answer to foreign couple.
He decides in my village the children should also educate then they never face such a language problem like me.
In his village there is no school at 2000. He decided to construct the new school in his village.
Harekala Hajabba won the award educating poor childern in a mosque. He standing in a ration queue. While the rest of the day he educates poor children in a mosque.
Lastly, He took the initiative to open school in his village in 2000. In his village didn't have a school untill he spent his own savings to start the school. He used his own earning and savings to buy the land for the school and he also took bank loan when the number of students grew overtime.
His initiative has helped many kids studies. Finally he opened school in his village. All the odds, Hajabba decided to educate the children. Gradually more students joined his school.
Now his dream fulfilled. See how a fruits seller person can open a new school with his savings. That is commitment. Just believe your self then you can do any thing and every thing just you need to have a commitment in your dream then only you will success in your life. Even he did not educated but he built a school in this village that is courage, confidence, strong commitment towards his dreams.
He won PADMA SHRI CIVILLIAN award honour on monday (november 8) from new delhi president RAM NATH KOVIND.
Now he dreams is to open a pre-university college in his village. So, that his village children can attain higher education and lead a better life in new padup.
